Hi Everyone –

Please consider joining me at this special screening… November 20th at the Bagdad Theater at 7:00 pm. I will be hosting an info table on the Ski to Defeat ALS which will debut at Mt. Hood Meadows on Saturday, April 14, 2012.

Here’s the info:

The Movement is a movie highlighting five individuals from all walks of life. They have faced their respective disabilities and found the inspiration to overcome many obstacles. Both entertaining and inspiring, the show illustrates the surprising potentials available through adaptive sports to anyone with any form of disability. The personal stories of icons and everyday heroes of adaptive sports weaves a compelling narrative that is eye-opening and uplifting.

  • Narrated by Robert Redford and Warren Miller
  • Produced by Kurt Miller
  • Supported locally by: Mt. Hood Meadows, Hillcrest Ski and Board Shop, and the Oregonian

Live appearances by: Kurt Miller and featured athlete, Jim Martinson.

Local HERO to appear at screening: Portland’s own intrepid adventurer, Fred Noble, will appear at the event. Star of multiple Warren Miller films, lifelong Mt. Hood Meadows skier and dedicated globetrotting sportsman, Fred now faces ALS with the same fire he has brought to his life. That’s exactly the spirit of The Movement.

Tickets available at www.ticketriver.com, Hillcrest Ski and Board Shop or the Bagdad Box Office. Tickets are $12 or VIP $50
